This Course was designed to give you as much hands on experience as possible. Units Two through Six will include a jewelry design project carefully crafted to test your skills relating to the knowledge you get in the texts, CD’s, and DVD’s in the Unit. The projects are designed to help you fully comprehend the lessons you’ve just learned, as well as help us evaluate how well you are doing in the course.
Most of our students find that the Jewelry Design projects are the most important aspects of the course because they give you real world experience and training that one can only attain through practicing their craft. It takes hard work and determination to prepare a piece of jewelry, and these projects are designed to guide you through that process.
By the time you finish this course you should have the experience and confidence that you need to start designing and selling your own jewelry, and part of what the design projects are aimed at is getting you ready to sell your own pieces.
